My pony is a good girl

We've had a busy few days. Wednesday morning we headed to Tweseldown to xc school (1st one of the season) She was fab, was worried she may have got a bit wussy or may back off after not having hunted this year but oh nho, she tugged and towed me over anything that she felt wasnt a decent height and then jumped the bigger stuff beautifully

I was then a mega mean mummy and drove her on to my dressage trainer's place for 3 days intensive dressage. He said there was a big improvement in her (phew!) and we worked through a couple of little issues to get her feeling really good.

I also had a couple of lessons on his lusitano stallion who has won at GP and is just a total dream. That was fantastic- after I'd discovered which buttons to press and straightened myself out we had a play with the piaffe/passage. I've ridden plenty of piaffe on horses which arent very established in it but his was incredible and also had my first taste of passage which I'm in love with!!

Tomorrow me and Moon are off showjumping, stupidly entered the 1.10 and 1.15 and am now bricking myself but I'm sure if I shut my eyes we'll be fine....

Was desperate for food, sorry!
How did the jumping go? Were they as brilliant as Moon was for you?

I didn't expect Tam to be as compliant as you were and surprise surprise she made me lower the jump for Walt and Will but never mind, that's research!! Poor Cruiser was totally befuddled by the false ground line (put in some spectacularly close ones) and Walt and Will were good. Odin was the laziest of them all and knocked it down once, rattled it almost every time, and each time over the false ground line was far too lazy and put some awkward ones in! I think (just by watching) that I may have proved my theory that horses use ground lines to judge take off, so we'll have to see if the data confirms!
Thank GOD it's over though, I made myself ill over it on Wednesday and had to go home!!

But obviously, Moon was the best participant!
