Well the ponies we're all brilliant out jumping this weekend, but I managed to try and kill my ankle
Sat, we went BSJA with the older guys, who all last jumped in Aug and Sept!!!! we we're running late and was half way through 1m when we arrived with the horses!!!
Anyway Baz had 1 down (bein arrogant) then Titus cantered round warm-up, over 1 practice fence and went in for a clear!!!! He then produced another clear in the jump-off and came 3RD!!!! Clever Pony. Caz decided she try and get Baz slightly better and did the 1.05m, but he stayed arrogant and had 2 down
Now Flynn decided he wanted to play!!! Was tacking him up, and he undid his lead rope (hasn't done this for years!) and went trotting round the car park!!!!
Then whilst attempting to warm up he was just plain WILD! We'd *jump*/*leap*/*prance* over a fence then he'd stick his head between his knees and canter off!!! So me thinking this ain't gonna go well! Brave it and go in (1.10M) and he jumps a beautiful clear round
Little beastie was good as gold and did exactly as told!!! So into jump-of and I forgot to ride (I event, only need one round, well thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) so had stupid fence down in last double as didn't set him up at all!!!
Sunday we decide to take Woody to the Grange for some entertainment!!! So being brave decide to do the 2'3". (Hes 4 this year, 3rd time in an indoor school and has only jumped one course of colour poles before at 1'9" and has never seen a filler!!!) First fence is a horrible black and white filler and my pony goes and jumps a clear!!!!
Then clear in the JO for fourth and then a clear in the 2'6"!!!!
So we left on a good note (no point waiting another 20+ to jump before the JO).
Well I attempted to ruin myself just after the 2'3" on Woody. Came out, jumped of him and BANG landed on the foot of a wing and my ankle bent rather too far the wrong way
So mum bein lovely told me to get back on and do the jump off!!!
So i'm now doped up on ibuprofen (sp?) with frozen peas on me ankle
But very very pleased with all the ponies!
(sorry this is long and self indulgent and prob doesn't make any sense, but I ain't got nothing else to do!!!
Hopefully if I work out how got Vid of Woody, so I 'll try and stick it up!!!)
