Good Wellies

Thinking about getting some new Wellies and am considering aigle iso parcours and le chameau vierzonord extreme. Have had muck boots and they have been good but tend to only last a couple of years and fancy a change. What would you go for?
 
If you want to give muck boots another try, buy Dunlops. I have a bad foot which over flexes so that wellie always cracks across the top. Dunlops are the only ones that last. Cheapish too. I've had the expensive ones and they don't last either.:(
 
Thanks dry rot. Tried on le Chameau but found them a bit loose around the ankle. Tried on seeland estate ones and they felt good so got them! Very good soles on them too.
 
ive had my aigles for around 9-10 years and they are still as good as the day i got them! so would highly recommend them! they are also really comfy for walking in too!
 
I was also considering the aigle parcours as I wanted some insulation but have narrow feet/ankles and need to be able to walk dog comfortably as well as slop about in our clay paddock!
After much searching I bought some Gumleaf wellies a month ago which are basically a copy of the aigle ones but cheaper:

Really pleased with them so far - good fitted shape round foot and ankle and leg not too wide, I have a 14.5" calf but these are big enough to comfortably tuck jeans and waterproofs into. Free delivery and they came next day!
 
I've had hunters, joules, rydale, tottie and other makes and the best wellies I have had are my Dunlop ones £8 still going strong over 2 years later!! They may not be best for fashion but do the job far better than the fashionable ones.
 
Well I've had all sorts of boots, including Hunters and Dunlops but I refuse to pay a fortune just for wellies nowadays so I was shopping in Primark and found some lovely lightweight comfy high leg wellies with a really good tread. They are so secure when walking through slippy mud. I walk to a fro the yard and they are so lightweight and flexible. I always buy a larger size so I can fit thick socks in them when it's cold and my feet keep reasonably warm provided I keep on the move:p They cost me a tenner ;)

I have some Aigle parcours the ISO's and after 3 months the toes are seeping water = NOT happy they will be going back in the new year and I'll be going for the Le Chameau which were my first choice. The Aigle have a 3 year guaruntee so let's see if they hounor it....:mad:
