I know it kinda advertising and I appologise, but I seemed to have aquired another pony.. long story.. she is in a bit of state.. very thin sore back etc.. pm for details.. Please note I've not gone and purchased her and can't actually afford to have her but I guess I'm a sucker for a sob story!

now my problem is she has only come with 1 stable rugs and 1 turnout rug.. her rugs are 5'9 all my rugs for my other two are 6'9 or 6'6 so was wondering if anyone knows where Ican get some very very cheap or free second hand turn out rug ideally with neck cos she is living out just to tide me over till till after January when I should be able to have some spare cash to buy her some decent ones

Thanks guys

Please don't shoot me down for taking her on but she really is a neglect case. I have lots of land with good grazing etc

I have some spare 5.9" rugs which I would be happy to send you (I am sure there are a couple of NZs and a couple of stable, I can go dig them out if you are interested and tell you exactly what they are). PM me your details if you would like me to put them in the post!

Dont have any spare rugs (mine are all 7'3) but good on you for taking this poor pony on, I hope she has a nice home now.

I really couldnt walk away..

I knew this pony about 9mnths ago and she was in very good health.. I hd the option then to buy her but wasn't suitable for my daughter.. seeing her now she is completely different.. I have shed tears over this little mare cos of the guilt i feel for not taking her on 9mths ago.. if only i had none of this would have happend.. at least now she can have a decent life.. and hopefully this damage thats been done can be resolved

Maybe try and contact a local horse rescue for some second hand rugs or some you could borrow and some help looking after the pony, they are usually more than happy to help out. Good luck with her

I don't see why that is at all necessary. If someone asks for help you can either help them or you can go read another post.

I agree .Some people can't resist being horrible. Good on the OP for helping the mare, I hope she recovers.

If you want to be sarcy, add an emoticon, otherwise what you say makes no sense.

However, sarcasm also not necessary when someone is asking for help - you appear to be the only one laughing.
