I have Cotswold neoprene lined wellies, they’re still in great shape after 3 years, despite wearing them for 6 hours a day / 5 days a week in my previous job!
They do look good!I found grubs and muck boots slippery. I have skellerup quattro wellies they are heavy but warm and were recommended by farmer customers

Aldi do fisherman's boots, they are neoprene and warm and strong. In green or black.Hello all! I am after some yard boot recs for the winter. I have just dug out my Le Chameu wellies to find 2 big splits in each boot. Does anyone know of some yard boots that are more durable? must be waterproof and fit a 42/3 cm calf. TIA!
They weren't silly money either because they aren't aimed at the equestrian market4mm Neoprene lined. Tested to -50°C Comfort range: -25°C to 25°C!
Now those are the real deal!
Ooooh! I shall pay attention to special buys then- Aldi stuff is often good for the priceAldi do fisherman's boots, they are neoprene and warm and strong. In green or black.
Or they did last winter anyway. Very good value for money.
I must admit when I had some years ago I did find them slippyMuck boots I absolutely hated, too slippery!
I’ve put them to the top of the list- a few votes for them and they do look goodThey weren't silly money either because they aren't aimed at the equestrian market
I found with any that had a rubber foot then neoprene from the ankle upwards if the bottom of the neoprene got wet it absorbed the moisture and spread so I still ended up with wet feet and wet legs and they took forever to dry
I really like my mountain horse classic rider boots! They are very comfy and have done me about 5 years? I use them more in the summer as I swap to wellies in winter though.Jumping on herewhat short winter boots would you recommend? I'm not riding so don't need ones that will do both, only just back with horses (long story!) so only spend about an hour a week at the yard, looking for short boots that will be warm, waterproof and grippy, as the yard car park is prone to being icy in the winter

These were mentioned aboveWhats a good waterproof short boot, I have long ones but hard to walk in with my new knee, looking for rubber ones not leather.
And I see them as lot of places very tempted to try them.My woofwear short boots have been great though.
I've got these as well great boots.I really like my mountain horse classic rider boots! They are very comfy and have done me about 5 years? I use them more in the summer as I swap to wellies in winter though.
The only thing I would say is that the velcro on the Woofwear boots loses its stickiness quite fast. And I see them as lot of places very tempted to try them.
I'm thinking of trying the Woof Wear boots, they seem to be a good price with good reviewsThese were mentioned above
