The Blacks have one at Lindores near St Andrews. There's Strathearn Eventing in Methven on the road to Perth. Some in Ayrshire but I know them less well. Not many available to hire in the Central belt. Most people go to Strathearn if they want a serious course with fences from 2'6 up to Novice/Int.

Do you mean for schooling or competition.

There is often a bit of training goes on at Hendersyde (Kelso) but tends to be organised with SEA or EHOA. Hopetoun is a nice course near to the Forth Road bridge - don't know if they hire out for schooling though.

Craigie don't do schooling but the Rhynd just along the road is very cheap but don't expect much except dry going (sandy soil). Braeside near Lindores is good and well maintained but hope for good weather as it's on top of a hill and very exposed.

For Schooling: Titwood in Ayrshire, Greenfields in South Lanarkshire. EEC at Dalkeith is good for a variety of fences.

Easterton in Milngavie, but never been there.

PC comps at Douglas (organised by L&U) & Corsliehill, if it still exists, is organised by L&R.

Depends which area. In Grampian, there's not many open for training unfortunately. Balquholly is the purpose built training one which has an excellent range of fences but they are all in a small space so you cant go for proper gallops in between. I think Philorth allows some people to train round it but I think you need to know the right people (may be wrong though!). Corrachree at Tarland I believe is going to be open for training this year but its a small-height course and not terribly exciting IMO. Aswanley is open for training only ONE day a year, the day after their BE in Sep. Not sure about Burgie, I think groups can train.
