Good yard boots for skinny legs!

I need some recommendations for good yard boots, long or short. The main requirement is that they're tough and durable, and waterproof would be a definite bonus! I really wanted some Dublin River boots but they were way too big on my ankle/ round the calf as I have pretty skinny legs. So I think short boots might be better, but I'm open to suggestions!
Doesn't matter if I can ride in them or not.
