took the words out of my mouth.... I hope my Buzzy, my Guinness and my Bobby were there to meet him.
 
thank you everybody. i hope they were there to greet him too and yes we are left in pain and they are freed from it.
Juliag i hated making the decision but im glad i did as the last 2 days his eyes seemed distant although he still whickered too me aswell. Im sure when its your time you will find the courage to let her go.
I will be rainsing a glass to my boy and all the other friends we have all lost over the years. *Raises glass* for bringing us so much joy and love, you will all never be forgotten *Cheers*

Look to the sky in the morning- you will probably see a message in the clouds or a beam of sunlight breaking through to dry your tears and if you have a little robin start to visit you soon, you will know it is him, coming to thank you for love you gave him and tell you he is fine in his new life.

I often know my Gingerwitch is leading a charge upstairs.... it isn't thunder you hear, its her and her friends having a hooley round rainbow bridge,

God bless, it must be so doubly hard when you have had two to say goodbye to at the same time - my thoughts are with you and i hope the numb feeling will leave you soon, but it is there to help you through this.

I find it really touching reading these posts and I really feel for you for the loss of your horses. I know this day will come for me, hopefully a long time away.....but it's a day I dread.......

Ive been following your post and was thinking of you friday.

My boys time has come and i need to make the call for him to also leave his pain behind and go to the place with the lush grass and warm sunshine.
Youve been so brave and a true insperation. Hopefuly your tears will soon go and you take comfort from all the nice messages you have received and knowing you carried out the final act of kindness.

Only horse people understand the bond we all have and how special our 4 legged friends are.

I hope im as brave as you ......
