Goodbye Forum -

I hate children on yards, we don't have any, and it is a very happy place without them :D

And for the record, I am a mother of 2 boys, aged 8 and 9, and I absolutely HATE having to take them down the yard...and I only do for 10 mins at the most and they have been once this year LOL!

:o you forgot me! :D

I can't comment being a child but i don't scream...or shout...or make loud noises... but then again im not 7... but i didn't do it then either, was taken down to the yard to do my pony! :)

I beg to differ Bosworth.
She appears to be wishing my horse to be blinded and me to be much lighter in the pocket paying for it.

A very bizarre attitude. I for one, being a horse lover would not wish pain, injury or suffering on anybodies horse, even if I despised them.

She didn' say anything of the sort, in fact the opposite - she said she hopes your horse is quick enough to get out of the way if some rancid child waves a broom in its face!

Normally the case is, rear orifice parents breed rear orifice children.

I can remember years ago at a farm museum, it had a highly polished veteran fire engine, there were signs on it asking parents not to let their children play on it as the sweat off hands corroded the brass fittings, we stood admiring it, obvioulsy the signs didn't apply to the moronic children all over it, or the moronic parents, when Mrs Pedantic pointed out they
weren't supposed to be on it, well oh dear, heaven forbid there little darlings should be discipined, might as well of asked them to strangle the brats.

I have no time for people on here who go running off to admin at every little thing, I really hope GW stays, just to annoy the fluffy bunnies if nothing else.

well in my opinion GW s yard owner should have backed her up. screaming children are a safety issue (and a complete pain). my proff liability states that any child under `14 has to be accompanied by a RESPONSIBLE adult. i have a yard that has 2 little children (3 and 4) who behave very well and enjoy their little pony, and one 7/8 year old that has padies/screams! (but next time it screams and spits the dummy out = gone and they have only been here a few weeks!!!) I have to keep the peace betwwen liveries and protect my long tern business! but badly behaved children have NO place on my yard!!! And it is up to the parents to do their job properly. but there are many nightmare parents with ASBO kids etc. in most cases it is lack of parenting and discipline that produce the screamers! GW i read the post and didnt think it was out of order at all but hey i get slated frequently for typing my replies!!!
