Goodbye Freddy

Yesterday we had to lose Freddy, for those that didn't see the post he'd got a wound on his fetlock that had appeared to be healing well for 2 1/2 weeks then Friday morning he just deteriorated drastically. We took him to Oakham and unfortunately the joint had become chronically infected and they didn't give a good prognosis for operating.
Its so hard to think that a few days ago he seemed ok. Me and my husband are absolutely devastated, i just can't stop crying. He was such a super horse and a real character. You never think things like this will happen to you. Life is hard sometimes and deals you a bad hand.

R.I.P. our Fred, we'll love and miss you always. xxx
