Goodbye, hello, some comp reports and with a dashing of pics

Love the new Irish horses, you ceratinly have an eye for a good one.

Good luck to Jack and Clover in their new homes, I am sure they will be very happy.

Thanks all! Will be out to lots of parties no doubt so lots to update I'm sure :) The grey girl was DC in the British Novice tonight and Saffy went dc round the 1.10/1.15 but as she was the only one in the class she just had a school round :)

Thanks, all :) We owe Jack a lot and it's great that he has a super home. Our weekly outgoings will drop dramatically now we don't have to bulk buy bananas! That said, do you think there might be a correlation between jumping ability and banana consumption? I ask as A's (very, very much) outgrown 13.2hh JA pony who is currently mowing our fields for us would sell her soul for a mouthful of banana. And grapes...and cherries...

D won't go near a banana! He is however very partial to grapes and plum, having lived in a field with the next door plum tree hanging over it he is a dab hand at spitting the pips out. You can see where he stands in the field gorging and then there are a small pile of pips!!!

ETA he isn't left out with the plum tree all the time, once they start falling they all get collected off the tree so he can't pig out and make himself ill :p

Aw, sad news about Jack moving away, but very best of luck to him in his new home and I'm sure he'll give them as much fun as he's given A. :)

Good plan keeping A busy. ;) Looks like some lovely youngsters and they are all knuckling down and playing nicely for Team measles, long may it continue! :D

I bet A had a blast riding S in the 1.05m! He must have made her look teeny though!!!

Very oddly he looked fine size on her - much to all round surprise.. She is actually deep through the girth, and jumped very impressively. I have been lobbying for a career change for her for some time but it is falling on deaf ears :D

How funny, I was picturing his feet halfway between tummy and floor! ;) Anyway, it's the jockey needing a career change... he'd love to be an eventer really! :D

Erm... there's the Ecosse Equi-X place (Facebook page here), not sure what ground is like though. Could have come to Party in the Park this Sunday with RC! ;) EEC has the XC fences available to hire yourself, only £15 and they also have some Les Smith training on at the start of June (info here) if that's of any interest?

St Gatherer doing XC training round Oatridge BE course day after the event as well! Details on SNEC website no doubt. :)

God grief, that car! That car! Sorry to hear about Jack, it's sad but he and son had a lovely time together, judging from your reports.

Saffy - is she the little Lux mare? I'm a sucker for a bay mare, so lots more reports and pics, please! (With or without water tray splashes...!)

I know - the car photos freaked me out a bit, too.

Saffy is the Lux mare. Daft as a brush but oh so talented and cooperative...if she has a realtionship with her rider :) Son thinks she is the 12.2hh pony he never had :D

Thanks all for positive comments :)
