RIP Little Fuzzy: 1984 - 2012

Little Fuzzy went over the rainbow bridge early this morning.

She had spent the most lovely afternoon yesterday in the sunshine in THE most lovely paddock with grass she was only ever allowed to nibble at on occasions.

Having owned her since a yearling, a huge part of my life has gone now - her birthday year was the same as my daughters - and they were born only a month apart. She had 3 foals over the years, but much preferred to be ridden than be a mum.

She looked after the most tiniest child, taking newcomers round the show ring or to pony-club - really enjoying the gymkhana games best.
Competed & qualified for Olympia, also HOYS & several times winning at Breed, NPS & P(UK) over the years from 1st ridden to open & also WHP, being breed champion numerous times.

She also went to the Royal Mews to take part in a side-saddle display - and also the same year took part in the Blue Peter programme & was featured with Richard Bacon in the garden.
Taken to school dressed as a reindeer for 3 yrs at xmas, popped in the back garden to mow, brought into the kitchen for an apple (much to grannys horror!) and had to be taken out the front door as she couldn't turn round in the kitchen space!

Nothing ever fazed her - except anything that resembled a tractor - but that was forgiven as she was a perfect gem in all other ways.

She retired from ridden work of 4-6 days a week a year ago & was quite happy nannying big fuzzy out in the fields, tho occasionally coming out on a lead-rein as she did enjoy her hacks.

Little Fuzzy, I salute you sweetheart, you were one exceptional pony & will leave a huge hole in my heart.

Till we meet again

xx

RIP little Fuzzy :( Thinking of you this morning. She was the same age as me, I didn't realise you'd had her quite so long, you'll have so many memories to treasure of her. She sounds like a wonderful pony.

Sorry for your loss of such a good friend. She has given you so many memories to look back on and smile over. She'll always be with you in that way.

RIP Little Fuzzy

RIP to little Fuzzy, she sounds like she was a great character, I can imagine you will miss her very much xx

RIP Little Fuzzy ... hugs to you, such a hard decision to make but probably the most important one. We said goodbye to our old boy of 35 on the 1st Feb so know the heartache you are going through ... I hope the memories overtake the heartbreak soon and you can remember LF with a smile rather than a tear x

(((((((((hugs))))))))))) to you. She sounds like she was a very special little pony and I can tell from your post she was very loved. She would have known that.

RIP Fuzzy, run free. xx

RIP... seems like all the best horses are being taken atm. Lost my Mr Bob on 20th Feb :-(
He had long life like Fuzzy. Sleep tight xx

Oh FF . . . I'm so very sorry about this . . . I have (real life) coffe/tea/hot chocolate and choccie biccies at mine if you'd like a distraction/break . . . many hugs :).
