After eleven years my big girl left us in the early hours of 29th November. She was on medication from the age of six months due to various joint problems and in the last few months struggled a great deal with severe arthritis.
She was the most gentle, loving and beautiful girl and leaves behind two heartbroken humans and our little girl, a Lab called Sophie.
I can't believe she's gone and the house feels empty without her. She died at home surrounded by all those who loved her most.
We're having her buried on Monday so we will always be able to visit her but I know her spirit lives on in a place where her body can keep up with her love of life. RIP my darling Emmy X

So sorry

I'm sure Emmy has left you all with some happy memories.

So sorry for your loss:

THE EULOGY

Look not where I was
For I am not there
My spirit is free
I am everywhere

In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you here
Don't cry for me Mom
My spirit is near

I'll watch for you
From the other side
I'll be the one running
New friends by my side

Smile at my memory
Remember in your heart
This isn't the end
It's a brand new start

I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved Holly on 29th october after finding out 5 weeks perviously she had cancer. i miss her terribly but i know she is at peace. We had her pts at home surrounded by family, it was peaceful and very dignified. We buried holly in the horses field as she loved to go there and chase the bunny rabbits!

rip holly and emmy

I'm sorry to hear of your loss too. My old dog that I grew up with was lost to cancer.

I like to think she's enjoying herself even more now she's free from pain. Don't want to wish my life away but I can't wait to see her and all my lost friends again.
