So, so sad. You must be heartbroken, but how happy he looks in those pictures - if ever a horse was smiling he is on those pictures. RIP Intersky Emerald x
 
I don't often post replies to your threads, but I do read them fairly often - so sorry to hear about Emerald, we'll all be thinking of you :(

Those photos are lovely - you can take pride in him and at least he went quickly and doing what he loved.

what awful awful news. Big hugs being sent your way - you were incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful horse and from your posts in the past its completely obvious how much you thought of him. remember the good times x x
 
Sorry to read this, he looked a handsome lad, least he passed quickly despite the circumstances, having said that, he'll of been none the wiser and spent his last moments galloping to the finish doing his job.

You have all my sympathy- horses as quirky and fun always leave such huge spaces behind. He looked truly fabulous in those photos.
 
We lost our superstar point to pointer on the gallops to a heart attack-he went as he lived ie at the gallop-very sad at the time and awful going home with the empty lorry but the best way for him to go. Really sorry for you but he looks a million dollars in the photos and a credit to your care
 
Oh cripes E, I am so sorry to hear this - you are having a tough time. I'm sure in time it will be a comfort that Emerald passed doing what he loved. Hope you also get to the bottom of Sov's problems xx
