Goodnight and God bless Intersky Emerald

Read your earlier posts about Emerald and am so sorry to read this one today. I am aware that knowing he went having run so well doesn't comfort much when you look over that stable door at the moment, but I do hope it will help in time. K x

As I said on FB, he was so special and such a character that he'll be sorely missed, but you have lots of wonderful memories, even if some of them weren't so wonderful at the time. ;) :D Chin up, chuck.

Funny you should say that, but honestly most of his escapades were due to my ineptitude, and mostly far too funny to be cross for long!
I do feel a bit sad for Sov, he has nobody to fight and play 'boys games' with. :(

and you had to mention the chin, didn't you?

Oh no, I'm so sorry... :(

I've always been a fan of Emmy since you posted about first getting him on the CH forums. I can't imagine how devastated you are, but like others say at least he went doing what he loved best. RIP Emerald.

I am really sorry to read this. He has always sounded like a proper character and must leave a massive hole.

What a horrible end to a good day, at least he'd have known very little about it and went doing what he loved. Big hugs to you, heart goes out to you - it's what we all dread happening. The photos are lovely, a poignant reminder of him if ever you needed one.
Thoughts to the connections of the horse who sadly broke down on the flat also.
Take care xx

I'm so very sorry, E, such a shame. I've been busy last few days and suddenly remembered about your race so was looking for an update; I didn't expect one like this. So very sorry, he looked fantastic.
