£40k is nothing for a flat horse. That's pennies in someones pocket. Scary but true.
The horse is off to David Pipe's yard to go hurdling. It was his first start since being gelded too so it clearly worked in his favour.

Lol, I had one that went through yearling sales at over 250k, v quality looking but rubbish flat horse with attitude, tho grandsire was Royal Palace.
Picked him up from trainer as a rising 4yr old, gelded, job lot with 2 others for £800.
