Goresbridge Horse Sales - has anyone been?

I noticed that they have a sale next week of quality event horses and I'd love to go but not sure what to expect!

Has anyone been before, and would you advise buying from there?

I have been there and would definately advise it as long as you know what you are looking for!

I went to the sports horse performance sales twice and the general horse and pony sales once (was on holiday in Dublin but ended up with a nice unbroken youngster, oops)

My personal experience of it was good, you can see the horses all lunged and ridden and I rode one of the ones I bought before she went in the ring.

The best advice I can give you is to make sure you check all vet certificates of the ones you like thoroughly and to have a price in mind as it's very easy to go overboard!

At the back of the catalogue is a list of horse transportation companies, I would highly recommed Keating horse transport, very quick and easy to deal with.
