Picked up my new Springer Span pup today and he is a little angel (so far!!) however our 3 1/2 year old bitch Springer is being a moo and will not let pup anywhere near my hubby and attacked him earlier, thank goodness he's got a puppy pen to go into, he is completely terrified of her (puppy that is not husband!!) I'm sure they'll settle but any advice gratefully received!
 
No real advice but our bitch lab x (4yrs) was the same for awhile she didn't actually hurt him just put him in his place its all a dominance thing just keep a eye on her.Make a fuss of her still but only when she is being good not when she is growling or what ever she does and make sure she gets fed first let out first etc its quite a big change for her too

Now our springer Chester just beats up Libby now and he is still only 8 months old definatley leader of the pack but every now and again Libby puts him in his place

God I'm such a thickie I've tried putting pickies on the forum on several occasions and can't do it, grrrh!
Blimey I'm impressed with the little fellow so far though, he's had no wee accidents, been dry all night no poo's other than outside and slept until I woke him at five for his brekkie, he's currently sitting at my feel, chewing various things, he's a star!
Any tips on photo's glady accepted and I'll try again. x
 
congratulations on your new springer, i have one too and he's fantastic. with regards to posting pictures, have a look on the previous posts, 'computer help 'on page two and 'sorry to be a pain'. i had the same problem when i wanted to put some pictures up, so posted my plea for help and with everyone's help i got my first picture up! would love to see photo's. good luck with your young lady, im sure they will be best friends soon.
