Goring Inhand Show

Hi there. I'm going (as long as the weather's cleared up a bit)

. I'm doing the turnout and welsh a classes. How about you?

It is on the 20th, not 21st.

Was thinking about going as its only 5 mins up the road from us, but my niece has a PC rally instead, plus we are at Plumpton Show on Saturday, so we won't be bothering. My mare finds in hand stuff so boring anyway, she'll go to sleep! I did think about offering to help as I am a member, but my sister needs me to go to PC with her, as I am the scary person in case naughty welshie doesn't want to load!!

Its all on grass - established old sheep grazing, so a good turf coverage. Drains reasonably well usually, have never known anyone get stuck when I have been to events there before. Think it is chalk underneath like us, so drains well, just depends what sort of weather we have in the next day or so. Most the rain we have had lately hasn't touched our fields hardly, just a bit gooey on top in places.

I'm off to plumpton on Saturday aswell. Doing inhand youngstock class.
Then on sunday we are doing the youngstock class and the condition class.
Poor Alee has a busy weekend ahead of her!!! Might see you there then.

Woo hooo see you there!!!!!
I suppose its quite good that we won't be competing against each other really. Was thinking about doing best bay and prettiest mare too. Poor Alee she's really gonna need some time off after this weekend.
BTW I trotted her today

Hmm interesting. NOt too fussed about the judging really as going to get my youngster out and about but i'll let you know what it's like!!

good luck!! good experience for youngsters as usually quite a busy show, but it's not one of my better venues, i have been two years running and frankly i wasn't impressed LOL and i'm not usually bothered by the judging either but it was just soooo bad!

The last time I went to Goring Show Axel won the PBA class and then went on to be Champion Arab, he then went on to win the youngstock class too. So I quite like the judging there

Although I do agree that the M&M judging was a bit dodgey last time! The year before my section A was 2nd and reserve champion.
So it is one of my favourite shows
