Hi all

Spent most of night before awake, as last year at Goring it was my first time driving the lorry and I stalled it on the hill just before the event.

This year was on my own to travel so worried till I saw the diversion so big smiles and no huge hill

Whilst studding up Saf caught me on the temple, boy is it still throbbing

Saf warmed up for the dressage really well, but as I trotted over to the last ring was greated by a heard of cows which she seemed intent on looking at through the test and the final halt was square but you guessed it turned her neck to see the cows

Put her away and trundled off to walk the course, by this time 2 friends turned up so no longer billy no mates

Thought the course was easier than last year no trakener and just one I was worried about a box brush which encouraged you to ride but you has to turn 90% right to a step.

So onto the SJ and again warmed up well they anounced my dressage of 35 so one happy mum as for us that is good

Tried out my new forward lighter seat and although she was a little quick defo felt softer and we went clear, cue the pats and hugs

Went straight of to the XC and no one waiting so jumped a couple and off we went, she gave me a fanstic ride only hairy moment was the box brush as she got away slightly down the hill and it was a bit of a tug around the corner to the step

Bought two lovely photos one from the SJ and a great one of Saf galloping.

Ended up 6th so very proud of my girl as two placings in two weeks.
Poor Saf has to do some dressage at our yard show tomorrow so think she will deserve a rest mon and lots of fuss and carrots

Thanks for reading
Very happy mummy

Have a PN unaff Hunter trial next weekend for a bit of practice!! It would have been 5 weeks after I have done it at Munstead so should be fine, I hope!

The OPN sections are a lot more competitive arent they! (as apose to the normal PN)

I'm sure you will be fine

Agree with the OPN being competitive, Saf and I only have one shiney point for a double clear but 25th place as I had loads of time
