Have set out on the long and trying road to buying - Just after a nice looking happy hack to ride out with my daughter and continue a little schooling/monthly lessons - yep I know everyone is looking for the same.

Question if the market is slow at the moment how come no-one answers, your emails, texts or calls you back ??

Have made loads of initial enquiries just to find out if horse is still available and nothing.

Is my approach wronge - what should I be doing ? Help.

Several other buyers have posted similar findings with sellers not retuning calls or emails...... I have no idea why they don't it makes you wonder if they actually want to sll their horses. I know it's not a lot of good to you but at least you know this isn't isolated.

Well I'm glad its not just me !! Well not really as it is very frustrating.

But why do they go to the trouble of making the decision to sell, place ad and then do nothing ?

Bets me - perhaps I've got a horrible voice !!! har har x

I really do not understand whats going on, ive had very little response to adverts and I know a lot of people in the same situ as me so i hope its not just because no one likes my horse?!

You could ring me, I'm still patiently waiting by the phone in the hope someone will enquire about my pony.

Im fed up too! have left so many messsages/emails- tried ringing at all hours but noone replies eg last weekend i was interested in 6 ads but only one replied. Its so rude and IMO sellers can be as big a timewaster as a buyer

But if you so get hold of them you get to have some version of the "I really need the money so I cannot afford to lower the exceptionally high price I'm asking for what I've got" conversation. At least this way you get to live in hope a bit!
