I thought the farrier had put the price up for a trim (£20) but just spoke to an EP, £45 per horse

That's what I was wondering. I can't afford 45 quid each for 4 trims. One probably won't need touched at all anyway. I am still in over it.

By the way when I said the farrier had put the price up I meant since the last time I paid for a trim about 15 years ago and it was 8 quid 
I am quite happy with the farrier which seems a bargain in comparison as long as she is happy to trim them in a sympathetic way to being in full work, not exactly sure how to broach the subject without irritating her tho.

When I have my farrier to do trims I pay 45.00 for horse and pony together.
