got a bit of a problem

I dont know if this is the right forum but here goes. I work on the edge of an industrial estate at eh side of some houses which i can see the gardens to. Anyway there is a dog it looks like a golden retriver to me and it is left out all day every day come rain or sunshine no kennel and i dont think it has food or water but i cant be sure. It barks all day and it quite disturbing to me that it is left there all day. It could be out all night for i know but im gone at 5 but when im back its 9 and always there. I feel so sorry for it it looks old to me. What should i do go round and advise them that i think it cruel(in a nicer way) or ring the RSPCA my mum thinks i should do it annoymously (SP) any ideas?

Ring the RSPCA and tell them to get some one round there to check it. Weather they do or not is another thing, we all know what the RSPCA are like!!

I'd pop round. We moved house recently and our dog came with us. We had the same problem - she was howling while we were out and we got reported to the council

Anyway - as we were out while she was doing it we had no idea, so if they had popped round or put a note through the door they could have told us and we would have sorted it.

Maybe go a drop a note through the door to let them know that it's barking - if they don't do anything then you could call the dog warden at the local council, but at least you've given the owners a chance, first!

Call the RSPCA try and get a reference number off them and ask them when they are going to go round, you can give your name or not, they wont push you for it.
