Got a trial at a riding school for a grooms job tomorrow. Spending a day up there and seeing how I get on then hopefully I'll have a job.

What to wear though? it's only yard work so was going to wear jeans, my joddy boots which are chunky type (will have to get a pair of work boots when I can afford some) and t shirt/rugby top hat sound ok?

good luck!

personaly i would dress smart, cream johdpers, clean boots and a polo shirt. obviously you wouldnt be wearing that if you get the job but hey first impressions always count

Good luck , hope you get the job

I think if you turn up in cream jodhs it'll make you look like you've never worked in a yard before

Would wear dark jodhs, smart polo shirt and work boots (so tough jodh boots etc.) Best of luck

don't wear jeans - gives bad impression - wear dark jods, you never know you may be asked to ride.

Jeans are not good for riding school, due to the customer !!

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooh very exciting!

Good luck and hope it all works out well for you hunny.

I'd take a waterproof coat (don't know what the forecast is)

I agree :-
If you wear jeans you will look suspiciously like someone who pretends they know about horses.

If you wear cream jodphurs you will look like you have come to pose for a photo shoot (you could complete that picture with lipstick, eye shadow and earrings)

A good pair of coloured jods a poloshirt or sweatshirt and workman like boots are just the ticket.
