Got a Thermatex from the boot fair!

Woo hoo! Have always wanted a Thermatex rug for my neddy, but OMG the price. Well today I found one at the boot fair, brand new with tags, in the bag, and in my horse's size for the princely sum of £30!

I know it's the wrong time of year, so I have time to educate myself on all the advantages of Thermatex and how to get the most from it.

(Still looking for that brand new pair of Dubarrys in my size at the boot fair.....!)

What are all the benefits of a Thermatex rug people?

They are just so bloomin useful and use mine all year round. Theyre great for warming and drying a chilled wet horse, drying a bathed one on a cool day, travelling you name it really.

Its never the wrong time of year for a Thermatex!!

I use mine all the time, warming, drying, travelling etc. Also have an exercise sheet in the same material

I brought a Fal cooler/travel/stable rug just yesterday for £20, looked on their web site and selling for £160.... "I'm happy"....

Ooo, another bargain hunter! Could have got very carried away on this particular guy's stall at the boot fair, he was disposing of EVERYTHING. Someone bought a Western saddle from right under my nose. Just as well really as I know I would have bought it then wondered what was I thinking? Hmm. Got an Eskadron headcollar, brand new, with sheepskin poll and noseband, and was cheeky and got it thrown in with the Thermatex

They are awesome found a pure wool rug for a fiver!!

No I haven't, it would be a bit of a drive for me. It would be good if there were more horsey car boots. I've got quite a few bits I could sell. Better than ebay for rugs and saddles and things that are expensive to post.
