...turns out it was malignant and quite an aggressive form.

The vet is pretty sure he fully removed it though, so hopefully she will be ok.

Was just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else's dog and if it came back??
 
I'm sorry to read this but hopefully the vet did take out everything so she will be okay. Try not to worry.

Mum is really upset, but I've told her she could be worrying for years and nothing else happen! Hopefully that will be the case!!

When we first found it the vet said an option would be to leave it and keep an eye on it as it was probably non-malignant - good job we didn't go for that option!!!!!!

If your vet is confident he got all the tumour out she will hopefully be okay. I can totally understand your Mum worrying but you are right, she could worry for years. Hard as it is you have really just got to try and forget about it and carry on as normal and enjoy Buffy. Wishing you loads of years ahead with her.
 
Sorry to hear that. I hope it's all been removed and everything turns out ok. My dog has had two small tumours removed but thankfully they were both benign. I know how you feel though - it's so worrying waiting for the results to come back and must be so much worse for you hearing this. I do hope she's alright.
