Got me thinking...what do you reckon it is worth post!!

Just read some posts and got me thinking about if I sell my boy - he is a TB, 7 years old, 16.1hh, done two one day events (not with me lol!!) done local dressage and scored 68% at pre-lim (that was me!) been hunting, loads with one person, clips fine (goes to sleep), good farrier, 100% traffic, catch and no vices. What should I ask for him? (person interested at £4k mark already). thankies in advance

if he did well in the ode's and with the market at the moment how it is i would pay £5500 but if he didnt do so well in the odes i would probably pay £4500.

Thanks hotellie - I have him advertised for £4800. I was thinking I was asking too much, any other ideas greatly appreciated.

I'd say around 5k is he did well aswell.
Just out of interest what would my boy worth.
We bought him for £4000 about 4 months ago, he was originally advertised for £7,500 but as we knew the ownersd we got a bargin!!
anyway. 13.3 11 YO bay gelding
Done PC, hunter trials, jumped round into XC course
Has a tremendous jump and i mean mahoooooosive - when he got tried out by someone else they were jumping over 1.40 oxers etc and he was clearing with room for more.
Hoping to qualify for teams but not sure if I want to go down that route...... Capable of BSJA and very good, balanced paces, works beautifully and has a VERY clean jump.
Just need to win a couple and he willl be well on his way. He is a very capable pony that will hopefully do well with me

and in the future with next owner (PS. he isnt for sale atm - maybe next year)

Hi Matt!!!

I think I have a new mummy for him (really nice girl) I had a secreatary of a hunt come and see him and someone that wanted to event, but prefer young girl as wants to teach her to jump etc and he is very honest. Hows your gorgeous boys doing?

Ah! good! that sounds like a fab home! Everyone is doing fine, Oz is still for sale, but has a lady really interested in him so hopefully she will come and try him very soon! My comp horses are going like a dream! thanks to munchie!
