Got my brakes back!

So recently my boy has been getting rather, er, keen, in the showjumping ring (mostly involving doing a full lap of the ring after each fence)

So today we had a lesson and actually managed to jump a full course, under control! I am riding him in a KK Universal and it seems to do the trick. Jumped the first fence and he tried to tank, so I said oh no you don't and pulled him up - he had a tantrum!!! Was obviously not impressed with mum's new brakes

Then he gave in and we managed to jump a full course! So chuffed, just hope he doesn't find a way of getting round it

It's great when you 'find' a set of brakes isn't it. I put Star in aVerbindend snaffle and hey, I can work her out in the open fields and she listens to me and doesn't tank off.

Incidentally, I have 3 snaffles which I rotate through because she eventually figures one out.
