I did it! About 5 years ago though so things may have changed since then! I passed the riding, passed the lunging but failed the care because I am utterly useless at remembering the names of different bones and muscles! So my advice is learn that part back to front LOL.
Do you know the horses well where you're taking the exam? Only I didn't, and I was so pleased I had a decent slappy jumping whip - as I swear half the horses hadn't done much XC - there was one horse in my group who kept stopping half over each fence (i.e he'd stop with front feet one side and back feet the other!) it was very strange!
I did it last year. Passed all the care no problems, I actually had to correct the examiner when they started questioning us on Stage 2 topics.... I had to correct her... awkward! haha
However I failed the riding cos it appears everyone does! Haven't resat it, cos not aiming to work with horses anymore
Can't really remember the syllabus but good luck, do your revision and you will be fine!
Yes I know the horses well - I went to College there as a Student about 4 years ago and I've trained there for my Stage 2 and now my Stage 3 too. I've learnt the Muscles and Bones - just got to remember them on the day now!!
