Got Olympic tickets!!!

Hey guys

I can confirm as I have spoken to the bank that £1206 has went out of account. I only applied for Dressage freestyle final and final football at wembley and must have got both. I think I got top end tickets as the maximum it could have been was £1456. So I am very pleased indeed.

I have struggled for days to find anyone who has tickets for anything yet but I am surely not the only one?!!

Would love to hear from others.....

I got a email this morning saying most of the tickets will be allocated by 31st May - so a few days left yet for those who havent got lucky yet.

none for me yet either - applied for the XC day of the 3DE, modern pentathlon, triathlow and rowing, but not heard anything - not sure how they are charging? alphabetically? by event? who knows? not even sure they know themselves!

If I get all mine it will be £1500. That said I've gone for mainly cheap tickets but for quite a few events to try and keep both me and OH happy.

I'm beginning to wish I'd been a bit more flexible with the price brackets as I'll be gutted not to go . . .
 
I had £306 taken out of my account today! All we (me, bro and sis) applied for was the javelin final - 2 mid range tickets. Gonna be Mum's 70th birthday present in December!
 
I received an email saying that the majority of payments will be taken next week so fingers crossed everyone!!

We applied on a credit card, so not sure how we find out if the money has been taken yet - can we ring, or do we have to wait for the statement?

I can see my credit card statement online - Although I have my CC with my bank.
 
precise amount of money for 2 SJ final tickets appears to be gone from my account this evening.... so hopefully I can celebrate.

I am sure more tickets will be coming through over the next few days .

Not had anything taken.... And to add insult to injury there's a few on the British Dressage forum who've managed to get multiple days from one application.
I'm currently feeling a lot envious!

I saw I had money pending so I rung up the bank and asked them who had taken the money as "I was concerened a large amount of cash had went out" and hey presto it was Olympictickets 2012.

I suppose applying for £1500 worth of tickets is alot but that is for 4 people for the dressage freestyle final and football mens final at Wembley. I chose sessions I really really wanted and those that were close together. So I plan to go down and stay for 4 nights and 5 days and have time around the 2 events. We are forfieting our summer holiday becasue by the time you take in the cost of acocmdation and travel that is how much it will cost!

I tried to increase my chances of getting tickets by going for higher end all the way to low end tickets. The dressage final max was £275 and I just refused to pay that much so went for £175 category B all the way down. For the footie I went for AA cat (£165) all the way down but ended up with Cat A which is fine by me.

I must admit I thought I had a chance with the dressage cos overall it is not going to be as popular as 100m sprint is it? But the footie final I am suprised. I think there is a good chance for most peoples applications though. If you say you will take higher tickets I think that is likely what you will get as they want to fill the stadium. It is going to be easier to offload the cheaper tickets closer to the time.

Still waiting for my official ones. Will be really p!ssed if I don't get any as I'd then be stuck at work watching through windows! But I know I at least can go to the sj eventing as work gave me tickets to those!
 
I have £116 pending to be taken out of my account. All I can think this is for is Olympic Tickets. My total original was £176 for Dressage Team Day 2, Team Final and Boxing tickets so I assume that I only have 2 out of the 3 but which ones?! Only time will tell! lol.

Wanted to go to the GP but was not paying that per ticket!

Nothing yet for me either. I wanted 2 x XC tickets. I 'think' XC day hasn't issued any tickets yet??? Maybe its one of the last events to get sorted!?
