Got to go out for a hack - i no longer ride!

Dreading it. Knackered old mare on an old Gelding ambling along with daughter on young horse on first hack. I will need a crane to get me on and off. Can't remember the last time i rode. Dreading it. I would rather be sh1t shovelling. I got sensible in my old age now my daughter is corrupting me.

I'm off now. I feel so nervous, how daft. I think i will walking a tad funny tomorrow. Thats if i manage to get on! Isn't strange how you change. When i was younger i would ride anything, the madder the better and do anything. Byeeee

I started riding again when daughter went to uni. I was fine once I was on, it was the getting on and off that killed me. Particularly get off, my poor knees, I used to sort of slide down his shoulder and fore leg and then collapse when I hit the ground
