GP Saddle Recommendations Please.

Evening all,

My 17.3 WB needs a new GP saddle.... I have a budget of around £500 - OH is buying it as an Xmas pressie so less would make him a happy chappy

I currently only have a dressage saddle, which I hate to hack in.

GP will be used for everyday hacking, RC level SJ and hunting.

What would you suggest please, I know it all comes down to what fits his Lordship best, but my saddler has asked me if I have any makes in mind - I dont......

www.equestrianclearance.com are currently doing good deals on the Bates Caprilli saddle and they have changeable gullets so you can fit it to your horse.

Recommend the Jeffries Hawk Event GP - I bought mine second hand for just under £500, fits my mare like a glove, is 'armchair' comfortable and is great as an allrounder saddle... gets my vote anyway.
