Hi, I am looking for a cheap saddle as titled above size 17.5 medium medium/wide fit. I am not too fussed about the colour but it must be fitted next Thursday as I have a saddler coming out to my yard then. Thereafore it must be someone who lives around the Bayford Herts area who is willing to let me see if it fits before I buy it.....any ideas? Or anyone selling??...Many thanks.
 
Have you tried Tack Haven at Kensworth, Beds, near Whipsnade Zoo - not that far really and they have a good selection of 2nd hand saddles - you can take them to try and return if no good.

I have a really old Barnsby jumping saddle at home but its probably not wide enough - it would be very cheap though! Its old fashioned but in good nick - I was using it for breaking babies but I have decided I am too old for all that lark now! I will have a look tonight and check. What does it need to be roughly D to D?
 
Tack Haven is a bit of a drive...especially if it does not fit and I have to make a couple of trips!!...I have tried e-bay but dont want to be stuck with a saddle that does not fit.....my boy is basically coming back into work and I have a dressage saddle but want to jump him now too....but not sure how long he will be in work etc....hence I do not want a new saddle....I think under £200 ??!! I am not worried if it has scuffs etc...but obviously must fit him...oh and me!!...
