She loaded quietly, travelled brilliantly and has settled straight into her new stable as though she has always been there. She also had her shoes put back on this afternoon and was an absolute angel

The scar looks really tidy... You can see where the stitches were, more because she is a chesnut and has quite pale skin. But I am really pleased with it and she is certainly bright and alert

She did not end up having the scan... I have to take her over to Peter when I feel she is ready

I'll probably leave it until the end of the month and then take her over and have it done. Peter seems quite positive and says the walking she will be doing for the surgery will help it immensely.
 
She's so wooly though...

The only thing is that she still has some lumps. They have now come now in size and turned into scabs now. I remember she had these when I first got her and the vet thought it was being caused by her winter coat so I am just going to make sure she has her rugs off for an hour or so a day to see whether that will help at all
