Grace is now 12 weeks into her colic surgery recovery... so I thought I would post some pictures of her a few weeks ago compared to when she came home from Leahurst.

It's gone really furry though... the pictures don't make it look that hairy, but I am very surprised, I thought it would stay quite bald

We are up to 50 mins in walk every day (but if you have a sneaky look at the post in the Comp area you will read how successful this is being!!!)

what a lovely looking/type mare and what an ordeal you both have been through, my friends mare had to have a ceaserian section and the scar is very similar, has healed well and u cant see it at all. Your mares scar has healed beautifully too, must be the tough chestnut mares! just to add how good she is to allow you to get so close to her belly and take pics!!

Becki, she's looking really well. Her weight has come back on nicely.

Her scar looks lovely and hairy too!

My cats scar is the same on his leg. He had an op around Jan time and the first place the hair has grown back is over the scar! The rest of his leg is still bold!
