Thanks to everyone for your comments and PMs, they are really touching and have meant a lot to me through all of this!
Yesterday I moved Hannah to the new yard, which was a big mistake!!! I had started with the flu on Wednesday morning, but with some super dooper pain killers, I had started feeling a bit better. I started moving all the bedding, mats, rugs, feed bins etc etc. but when i got to the new yard I was really struggling. My chest was killing me, and I almost fainted at one point which is when my Mum phoned and said enough was enough because I was in tears on the phone!
I got Hannah's stable done at the new yard, but couldn't face doing Grace's (was also a physical impossibilty at that point). I ended up not putting any water in with Hannah, leaving the new yard tack room dor open and can't remember driving home...
I spent the rest of yesterday in bed, I couldn't even lift my head up enough to drink some water... In all my life I have never ever felt like that!!! I feel a bit brighter this morning, but thankfully my fantastic Dad left work early and did all Grace's stable for me!!! So I just have to put the mats in the new stable and her bedding down... what a relief!!!
Anyway, I had a phone call from Leahurst yesterday afternoon (in my fluey delerium) to say Grace was bright, eating everything they were giving to her, and the first set of results had come back clear (no salmonella). The last ones should be back this afternoon, so hopefully after this she can come out of isolation and I can go over and see her this afternoon!!!
She is still having the diarrohea, but they are thinking this is now down to colitis more than anything else... so fingers crossed that is all it is
