Grackle bridle - recommendations/ones to avoid

Hi,
My horse has a mexican grackle bridle but the noseband doesn't fit very well. I first had the full size and the noseband was way too big, the rest was fine. Sent back the noseband and was sent the cob size instead which sits higher, as it should, but still needs to be higher but is too big over his head so sits too low. In addition, the nosebands are on the loosest holes. When you look at him he looks like his has a long thin head but clearly has a short fat head judging by the grackle. I think I'm going to have to get him another one and was wondering if anyone could recommend one, bearing in mind I have a VERY limited budget. I'm just hoping to get one that will fit him better.
Any thoughts would be really helpful thanks!

I have one from Horses In Sport, and its great - actually fits well and looks smart too, I dont think it was that expensive either. I imagine they have a web address somewhere but I;m not sure as I brought mine at a show.

not john whitaker ones, found they dont wear well at all, pessoa are quite nice and i love the sabre ones and they wear fantastically

Echo Sabre ones, very good bridles.

Think mine is a Jeffries, cheaper than a Sabre, and it's a cob size that fits my MW 16.3....

Could you not just put a few extra holes in the noseband? Saves you buying a whole new bridle.

I can't cos it's on the last hole! It's too small not too big. Have put more holes in the headpiece but can't get it any higher cos the buckle is up against the browband.
