Grackle made from elastic anyone??

My new neddy competed XC in the past with a noseband made from elastic (the thick wide stuff).

Anyone seen one or know where i can try. I have been suggested Kate Negus, ??

I got mine of ebay.

I have tried to find them but not been succesful sadly. As the one I have is a bit crummy & small for neddies snout! But I have a friend who is a great with leather work & she is going to alter it for me!

I was told to try racing suppliers but still did not find any.

thats a thought. Im sure it cant be that rare. I have asked his owner where she got it form but she had it made years ago and wants to hang on to it so its fair enough. Want to stick with what he is used to though so will keep looking

I'm sure if you could source the elastic then you could get 1 made up or my friend would for not so much!

Also I did find that there is one that looks traditional but has elastic in it. I would of got that if mate had not fixed this one for me! Shall see if I can find it again!!

shires do them.. but only as part of a whole bridle. I looked at buying one last year. but refused to buy a whole new bridle
