Was reading the Dressage Ireland rule changes which took effect from January 19th 2006, and found this -
• Nosebands: The following nosebands are permitted with a snaffle bridle: Cavesson; Dropped; Flash; and Crossed / Mexican [Grackle]
Surely it's not correct that you're allowed grackles???

Exactly what I thought, could they be talking about combined training???

MEEEEEEEEEEEEE TOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Got 'told off' this morning as was in warm up with grackle for BD havig forgotten and been working in bridle I normally use for BE.

Ridiculous too is the fact you can have a whip BD but not BE and a caller BD and not BE!

I'dve thought that 'pure' dressage people should be more able to remember a test than BE peeps who are also trying to remember a million other things including which saddle, what time, which course etc

oooops - sorry - mini rant over!
