Grade A Showjumper £1200?

Good grief, he is soooooo poor, what's happened to his back end? Wouldn't be doing much jumping looking like that. I like the title "International Grade A Showjumper/happy hacker" . . . .?????? Not much of a difference really . . . . .

No, it sounds like they bought the ISH mare from the people with back problems.....

FA2 DO IT!!! NOW! It's driving me mad as he looks so familiar....maybe it's just his kind face..??

Grade A is £2200 winnings. That changed from about £1600-£1800 pounds a few years ago. So I doubt he is a grade A. I'm sure I read something earlier about a dealer going on holiday...

He is only a year older than my mare. I am trying to think of when the rules changed. If he was that good he would still be jumping now, they say he is injury free but he must have been a stopper.

how very odd,
Might be worth one of us ringing up to find out the name of the Grade A, in case he is on the 'missing list'

Yes I rang her too!
I got the same story, she said it was spelt Charico 3, apparently she had him 8 months ago and sold him to a novice lady (as a hack) who doesnt have time for him anymore. He is soo cheap because she has to sell one of the 3 as a 'load of bills arrived at once'!
While she was talking to me she was trotting up and then tacking up for someone.
I feel sorry for the poor guy

Ok, so how many of us are on google looking up Charico??

Remember 'Riders' by Jilly Cooper? He looks the type of horse gypsy Jake would have bought cheap, worked on a bit and then gone out and thrashed the bits off Rupert C-B at a big show!

Ooh I love that book!
How I'd love to do that - buy him cheap then spend a lot of time working on him so I could beat the rich horsey set at a big show!

ohh I am going to find that book and re read that! I loved it.

Is it not strange that she was tacking up a horse and trotting it or whatever at 9.12pm...?
