Grade A Showjumper £1200?

I goggle it and it came up with Charico. Spanish slang for dog.

I live near Leics would go and see but it would break my heart seeing a horse in that condition

It wouldn't suprise me if she gets them from Melton sales for pennies and flogs them on.

Poor horses, he looks so sweet but thin and un loved

ah right! I forgot that bit - worth a try though - you never know!

I just think he has such a nice face. In my 'not thinking straight' world I would like to buy him, feed him up, hack and hunt him, teach OH to ride on him,\ and he would then be the horse for my daughter to move up onto. He would be so grateful to me for saving his life and being kind to him, that he would be a perfect angel, loving and kind, sensible and freindly.

In my 'real world' I would get him home - the sedation drugs would wear off and he would become a complete psycho and probably try to kill me in the stable, or out on the road chuck me under a passing bus! LOL.

Yes the man riding the mare goes to melton. Seem him there with a few horses. It has just clicked! Should I go over on Saturday and see if he is there>

I've just phoned the RSPCA and given them the details, they are going to investigate urgently, better to safe than sorry.

ILPH are better

Would prob pass vet but kill you if it was fit and healthy, most probably by stopping then rearing and going over backwards..hence the reason it will pass vet, put probaly not much else.

I don't think they are RSPCA cases, they are not in 'show condition' but they are probably not starved, more than likely a bit wormy or just lacking muscle. The Grade A is pictured wet after a bath so his muscles look quite defined, the others just look a bit 'raw'.
Out of interest how did you manage to get a response from the RSPCA at this time of night? I struggled to get hold of them Mid morning when I really needed them!

On second thoughts, can't keep feeling sorry for horses. Will end up collecting too many. If I go to see I will probably buy!

I wish I could afford to do that!

Seriously think people need to stop over reacting.

The horse is thin...yes. I have seen worse come over on dealers lorrys, and indeed in some DIY yards. However its feet are neat, its clean, and dispite the woman clearly is half illiterate, all the horses have got decent tack on, and look fairly happy under saddle.

I dont think people would be calling the RSPCA if the thing was fat...and to me thats as cruel!

You are doing that pack livery yard mentality thing - look at the bigger picture. The horse is POOR but in fairly good condition. It is probably in the state it is in becasue it is half mental and if it is kept well they would

A) not be able to sit on it, let alone ride it
B) Not be allowed to give it away becasue it was so dangerous - and therefore never make any money.

Incidentaly, since when has it been OK to slate someone/someones horses on here? Is that not totally against the t's&c's?

I second that CL, I wasn't overly shocked by his condition when I first saw it but was just interested in how come he wasn't jumping anymore and how come he was so cheap.

My friend's leggy section B was reported to the RSPCA for being thin more times than I can remember and ironically she has chronic lami!
