Have to add that friend said that: foal (well, now yearling!) has "wonderful temperament, absolutely fantastic and so mature"; and they have used Grafenstolz again on the same mare this year (2009).

Thank you for posting the photographs.

It would have been nice to see a photograph of the dam, to see is Graf as a sire has 'improved' upon her.

The photographs of the yearling (older example) have been taken at an angle...

But all in all I am glad, based on the above that I didnt use Graf

Thankyou, FB, and thankyou to her owners: she has a lovely outlook. I really like her neck and shoulder.

In Britain we are used to thinking of Grafenstolz as an eventing sire, and the few of his foals of which I have seen photos seem (just IMO) to have less substance than we are used to, unless out of big strong mares- though again, I have no idea whether they fill out and gain substance as they grow up- but I had not thought of G in terms of producing dressage foals.

You're welcome! I am sorry about the terrible quality of the pictures, but they're 'fun' pics, hence the un-professionalism...

Yes, I really like her neck too! This is the dam (again, sorry, but no specifically conformation pictures available)

Dont worry about it she looks a nice filly with her long legs, she probably gives the impression of less depth. What are your friends plans for her?
