Has anyone had a go at this before? It says the Novice is a maximum of 2'9 so I was thinking of having a go at it to finish the season before my horses holiday.

Horse is fairly onward bound and bold once she gets going but I don't really want to throw anything technical at her this year.

So is it going to be a huge 2'9 or a nice 2'9 and is it fairly flowing?

Thanks

It was my first last year and I loved it! The course was well built and inviting, I believe that the designer was a course designer from BE and it showed. It is not huge, some fences were to height but a lot weren't, course was flowing. If it is any help the team have decided that this will be my first Intermediate (I am easily led!).

That is exactly what I wanted to hear!

Thank you very much, I think I will have a go now although I think I'll do the Hunter trial section rather than the teamchase.

Thanks again!

Does anyone know what the intermediate course will be like, the team chase is only 10mins from home, I'd be interested in doing the intermediate but don't know whether it will be massive? Can it be compared to BE novice, I will definitely come along even if I don't enter.

Its looking big for an Int but nice this year! All depends on what your horse is like.

I would try the novice if your horse hasn't TC'd before. See how you get on.
Its a totally different feel.
I only evented at PN but found the move to novice interesting.lol

Mine is definitely more a TC horse than an eventer!

Would you say a Nov TC is bigger than a PN? Im doing Grafton, the 3 others on my team are all very serious pilots. (good thing ive been employed as The 4th...) !!!
