Grand Prix showjumper KOR II RIP

Sadly KOR II has been put to sleep at the age of 16. At just 15.3hh on tip toes Kor the son of Elmshorn won over 500,000 euro in his long career. He jumped on many nations cups and teams with former rider Roelof Bril for Holland. He was probably most remembered and talked about for winning the Grand Prix of Vienna when he was just 7 years old!!! beating the famous ET . He won a further 7 grand prix classes that year ! he was such a genuine little horse he was still willing to do the job all these years later! Kor's last result was winning a class at the Towerlands International in Novemeber2007 with myself. He will be greatly missed as he was such character. RIP KOR II xx

On a happier note. . i have a half share with the breeder: Kor's full brother who is 4 years old. 'Zwen Magnus W ' hopefully he will follow in Kor's footsteps in the future! <font color="blue"> </font> !!

RIP KOR Sounds like he had a good life, and gave happiness to those who rode or owned him. A truly great horse.

My 6yr old is by Elmshorn, I didn't know there were any progeny jumping still, what a shame about Kor though, I am sorry to hear you've lost him. Have you any photos?
