it does! I use it on my mare socks! I can normally get it in boots for around £3. Also henna shampoos for chestnuts are brill too!

Another vote for equine blue - very cheap and lasts forever.

You can put it in shampoo, conditioner, grannies soap flakes or use a little in the final rinse water.
