grass a little rant!!!!!

hi, i have 3 paddocks 2 we keep for summer/autumn and 1 we let our horses trash in the winter. our two summer paddocks are still closed off from the horses at the moment it was fertilized 6 weeks ago but still myself and my horses are peering over the fence longing for it too GROW. i know its only may and i know it will grow when the weather warms up, but i think the horses have had enough in the winter paddock and ive had enough of lugging hay about. come on summer hurry up and arrive then the horses can stay out at night.
sorry rant over feel better now.

I sympathise. It's the same with us. It's just been so sold that the grass is so slow to come through - except in the garden strangely enough! You're right; we need some warmer weather.

You are both more than welcome to some of mine. I seem to have loads and only 2 horses on 8 acres at the moment. We are having lots of wet and warmish weather so it is growing like crazy.

Ditto!! I was nearly going to bring them in to eat the lawn today, it's a joke still having to feed hay in May. Aghh!! Pushing that stupid lawnmower when the horses have nothing to eat. It's driving me mad!!!
