Hi there,
My horse has recently been treated for ulcers. Now looking to put him on some kind of chaff but struggling to find something that suits him. He has shivers which means low sugar starch is a must. Anything chaff with straw in seems to send him wild. Thinking a grass chaff perhaps? Any recommendations?

Mine have all preferred emerald green over graze-on. I think the grasses are different, it's softer than graze-on.

ETA just checked
Graze-on is Solid Hybrid Ryegrass, Donard Perennial Ryegrass, Moy Perennial Ryegrass, Dovey Tall Fescue, Promesse Timothy
Emerald green grass-tastic is all fescue.

(there's some rumblings about alfalfa chaff causing mechanical damage where the chop is coarse and stalky which is why this sprang to mind)
