Grass growth?

I should prob know the answer to this!

When does grass stop growing? Is it under 5 degrees, 3 degrees, etc?

And when will it start to grow again? I know there are all sort of complicated formulas for when the higher protein content happens to do with sunlight and rainfall in April, but a general rule would help.

Just thinking about when to plan in sectioning off parts of my field for growth! Assuming not much point now as it will nearly have stopped?

I think it's supposed to be 7 degrees, clearly impacted by daylight and water (not an issue at the moment!). For my land it's almost always worth sectioning off parts, 2 years ago I sectioned a field in half at Christmas (I know it was then as my inlaws helped!) by the start of spring (1st March) there was a clear recovery of that part of the field adn there can't have been that many days over 7 degress in that timeframe!

6 degrees it will grow. less than that it will slow. beyond freezing it just stops!
