Hi

Preferably around the Derbyshire area....

Does anyone have their horses on Grass livery?
What does it include and how much do you pay?

Any info much appreciated :)

Thanks

I'm Surrey so take us as most expensive and expect to pay alot less anywhere else!

I pay £275 for grass livery. This should include field maintenance but you have to harrass to get fencing fixed and as for poo picking/harrowing well that's done once a year if you're lucky. It does include big bales of round hay that is regularly topped up. Also use of a sand school and jumps when riding school aren't in it ie monday night. Hacking is fantastic though and grass livery in surrey with good hacking is almost impossible to find hence the price and why I stay!!

theres a livery yard just outside stone, staffordshire.
he charges £11 pw for grass livery and you can use all the facilities on the yard and put up your own shelter if you want.

£15 at my yard- you dont get much for it smallish field with a few others, down the road there is a place that does grass livery in lovely huuugggee field with... grass for the same price but i couldnt afford to keep my horse at the yard and also its in the wrong direction to fit in with my life!

The grass livery where i keep my horse is £12 p/w. This is literally just for the grazing (Plenty of cornish hedges for shelter) and the use of the school. In winter i think its £17 and this is for the same plus a round bale for your horse. The facilities aren't top quality BUT are fine for all the liveries there and it is made up for by the stunning hacking.

I'm in the North East and pay £40 per month april-november and £80 per month november-march.
This includes the fields being harrowed, field shelter, haylage in the field through winter months.

i pay 45 a month (that is mates rates) normally 60 and that includes automatic trough, as ittle or as much field as you wish shared or on your own, use of indoor school, a place to tie up, a feed bin, space in the tack room, parking for lorry and or trailer and the yard manager keeps her eye on all horses all day rings if there is a problem :) im in bucks though

I pay £60 a month- that includes stable, own field, straw, electric and small schooling area. It was £40 just for grazing. Pretty reasonable I thought. :)

I've moved yards! Still Surrey/Sussex and it's £240/month, it's full grass livery so includes feed and hay as well as any rug changes. We have a rubber school but no flood lights. Huge indoor barn concrete area for tie up, secure tack room and massive secure storage area with a pallet each for stuff and rug shelving.
