Ok so how much should I charge someone for grass livery in a field with absolutely no facilities other than a water trough?? It's only a little 14hhish pony and will be kept in a small paddock so won't effect how much grass we have (we have 4acres). Also it is a friends pony so I don't want to charge too much but I know OH will want to charge something ....sooooooo any idea how much would be on the cheap side of reasonable???

Thanks!!

I pay £50 a month per horse which is full DIY, hay and straw included, a stable for each of my horses, water and electric supply, and a field I can use 24/7 all year round. Hope that helps you decide on a price. Also I didn't know the owner before I moved my horses there :)

I'm in Dorset and pay £10 a week for as much grass as they can eat and some where to store rugs etc....

Lucky as YO is great.

£10-15 is the going rate round here for simple field with water.

I pay £25.00 per week for 2 ponies on 5 acres with field shelter.

I would say for the pony £10 would be a fair price for both of you as long as they maintain their paddock.

i have just increased to £50 month per pony owner keeps them in electric fenced of area of field and can alter size to suit, use of rest of field and jumps right next door to there house and stables is that fair.
